   持平而論，達爾文事變這部動畫的敘事和作畫沒有到特別頂級，在素食主義社群當中也存有「明明肉食主義才是更暴力、更血腥的意識形態，為什麼作品裡面素食主義者被描繪成恐怖主義者和主要反派」這樣的質疑聲。

5. 資本主義下沒有道德性消費！左派理論作為繼續食肉的理由合理嗎？

   左派常言：「資本主義下沒有道德性消費」（there is no ethical consumption under capitalism），用以強調不應見樹不見林，過份聚焦個人行為的道德價值而忽略結構性壓迫產生的弊病。我認為這兩種層面的意思都有值得思考之處，但即使考慮它們以後個人的素食主義仍有正面的倫理價值（在對抗動物農業的集體倡議同時並行的前提下）。
