   左派常言：「資本主義下沒有道德性消費」（there is no ethical consumption under capitalism），用以強調不應見樹不見林，過份聚焦個人行為的道德價值而忽略結構性壓迫產生的弊病。我認為這兩種層面的意思都有值得思考之處，但即使考慮它們以後個人的素食主義仍有正面的倫理價值（在對抗動物農業的集體倡議同時並行的前提下）。
